Vlatka Horvat is a Croatian-born artist based in London and New York. Horvat’s recent work has focused on reconfiguring physical objects, re-arranging space and the social relations at play within it. In a playfully constructed talk, she will ask answer questions donated by artists, curators and writers with whom she has an ongoing dialogue, touching upon aspects of her practice. Her work involves interventions into elements of the built environment, using simple gestures such as dismantling and repairing, mirroring and multiplying, cutting, folding and layering.
